Beautiful apartment with a great sea view, spotlessly clean and well furnished, even with a kids' playing area, garden furniture and private parking. We were a group of 6 in need of 2 double and 2 single bedrooms, not easy to find - but this apartment ticked all our boxes. Very welcoming and serviceminded host, we had a great time from the first moment.

The friendly welcome that I received from the owners, and their help in getting me to my train on the homeward journey were amazing and beyond any contractual obligation. Their suggestions about walks, restaurants and attractions in the area helped me to make the most of my stay. The location of the cottage, its great age and historical importance and the imagination put into its renovation provided me with an ideal centre from which to explore Anglesey in all its prehistoric, linguistic and cultural fascination. The friendliness and helpfulness of the people of Menai Bridge and the wider Anglesey. I shall be back Please note: I would rate this property higher than the 3 stars you have given it. For a single traveller the cottage is spacious enough. It's only drawback is the lack of views of the straits at ground level, and the need to walk up-hill to access the terrace from which you get a reasonable view of the Menai Straits and the bridges. I would rate it 4-5 stars

The Old Bailey boasted one of the best family "living spaces" we've ever stayed in, irrespective of price point - the main lounge / kitchen area with the old courthouse viewing gallery above them (now boasting the pool table) is the hub of the home and we absolutely loved it. Furninshings and overall spec were also top notch, as you'd expect for the price - I got caught out by the viewing flap in the downstairs toilet door, which was a former cell....much to the amusement of my observant kids! The master bedroom bed was another feature we wished we could have taken home with us....so big and comfy!
