What a wonderful find - the Highdown - Brunning & Price is a fabulous pub with comfortable rooms and great service. The full english breakfast was excellent and we loved the artwork displayed throughout the property! The surrounding Highdown Hill area is great to explore with expansive views over the ocean. It was a lovely quiet location just a few moments in the car away from family that we were visiting. We know the area very well and chose it especially. The hosts were on hand should we have needed them which we did not because everything worked just fine. We would stay again in a flash next time we are in England.

Excellent location in quiet and pretty village. Easy parking right next to the accomodation. Very clear instructions regarding check in. Very, very clean, cosy comfortable suite, fully and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. Everything worked perfectly. Detailed instruction regarding heating. Lovely staff. The host is super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel like at home. she also offers a small breakfast with cereals, tea and coffee facilities, milk and water in the fridge. I would add some fresh fruit to this (such as bananas or apples - low maintenance fruits), some muesly/weetabix and some honey to have a bit more variety. the room is really quiet and peaceful, bathroom is spacious and welcoming
