This is a very old hotel adjacent to a golf course founded in 1532!! The hotel has been "modernized" within the past few years. But things like detached (but private) bathrooms still exist. The antique furnishings in the lobby and common areas are exceptional.

The location, size and decor of the place was perfect. Ample amount of supplies for us in our two day stay. Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Lots of personal touches where you can really see the owners take pride in taking care of it. The place was absolutely spotless.

Hosts are lovely , helpful and friendly. Comfortable, clean home, very comfy beds, white cotton beddings and towels , very good free WiFi. Lots of antibac et all. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to visit the Esk House again. Highly recommend.
