It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

A wonderful hotel, staff were superb from arrival to departure, rooms are fabulous with luxurious beds and toiletries, clean towels every day whether needed or not. Only 10 mins walk from the hotel to a gorgeous sandy beach, and Gullane has a charming main street. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing, and we used the main bar and the outside garden area and loved the service given and choice of food and drinks in both. Will definitely be back!

The hosts are so friendly and they made for us a rich and delicious traditional breakfast to kick off our day! They also gave us advice for visits and tours in the centre and in the room we found guides and leaflets for all kind of activities in Edinburgh. The neighborhood is very beautiful, close to the port and with good connection to the city centre! We already miss the place and we will definitely come back.
