Featuring a lounge and views toward Eyjafjallajökull, Umi Hotel is located at the foot the famous volcano in South Iceland. It features a terrace and views of the sea. This hotel was easily one of our favorites during our two-week adventure through Norway, Iceland, and beyond. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The hotel was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the little touches, like the fantastic-smelling soap, shampoo and body lotion, went a long way. The on-site dining was exceptional, featuring the best steak I've had in this trip. The quality of the food was truly top-notch. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. My husband enjoyed great conversation with the manager while relaxing at the bar. The mountain views were breathtaking, and the hotel's proximity to the beach allowed us to capture stunning photos of the surrounding landscape. Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience, and we highly recommend it if you want a comfortable, quiet place in the middle of the nature.
