Set in a large private estate, Domaine de la Piale is an 18th-century property located 10 km from Figeac in the Midi-Pyrenees region.

In such a beautiful, peaceful location. Close to the lovely village of Fons. Madeleine at La Halle restaurant is fabulous and the food amazing. Sylvie at La Piale was the perfect host. She was patient with our limited French but we had some lovely conversations. We were here 20 years ago but the property hasn’t changed a bit thankfully. The pool is beautiful and all you can hear are the bees buzzing on the lavender and the cicadas. We loved every minute of our stay. It is one of my very favourite places in the world. After a turbulent few years, I was so very pleased to spend a week here with my family. I hope I shall return soon.

Friendly welcome, I feel right at home. Idyllic location and a very nice room. Simple breakfast but high quality, tasty. I wasn't missing anything.

the extensive continental breakfast was excellent with a variety of homemade jams and fresh breads or croissant, elegantly served. The coffee and orange juice were delicious too . We loved having the private room, washroom and bathroom as well as a reading area. The hosts made us feel at home and were very kind and informative about touring the area. There is a beautiful swimming pool.

Lovely, stylish property with fabulous shared kitchen and huge terrace. Quiet location. Room stayed naturally a nice temperature and the door to the terrace can be left open at night as there is a shutter. Room and bathroom are a very good size. Hostess is lovely, speaks great English and is very accommodating. The town is very enjoyable, loved the Saturday Market.
