Wow. This was a gem of a place! But first, Laon is probably the prettiest city you've never heard of. It's a little difficult to get to as it sits high on a plateau, but it's worth getting there. Many great places to dine at and attractions to see. Just go! The B&B is run by a young couple with a daughter, and it is just fantastic. Huge rooms, very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Our host was extremely helpful. We stayed two nights and could easily stayed two more except for our schedule.

Maison Seraphine is a well maintained old home that Pierre and Claire have adapted, furnished, and decorated with fine taste and style. The breakfast is an abundant spread of French breads, pastries, jams, cheese, juice, coffee, teas, and fruit. There even was a special chocolate breakfast cake prepared the first morning of our stay. Pierre ia an extraordinary host offering language support (we spoke only a little French) and tips for food and sightseeing in Laon. We very much enjoyed our time in this medieval city and Maison Seraphine is right in the middle of offering all the advantages of visiting. We highly recommend it to other travelers.

The place is absolutely stunning, perfect and very friendly welcome from reception staff, our suite amazing, i will never forget my husband's surprise and joy on discovering the suite and the stunning shower room, not to mention the private terrace with sofa and jacuzzi. Service was perfect and very friendly, breakfast very good in a gorgeous room. We have been treated like VIP's We have also treated us with a dinner in the restaurant, which turned out to be another very good moment, excellent food and very professional staff with delightfull sense of humour.
