Vanessa runs a beautiful B&B and really looks after her guests. The rooms are well appointed and spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, complete with homemade marmalade and jams. There was a lovely plate of fresh scones with jam/cream awaiting us upon our arrival which went well with pot of tea served to us in the lounge. The property was set amongst the farms in Thornton Rust and was an incredibly tranquil and restful place to stay. It was well located for us to do day trips all over the dales.

from the lovely warm welcome from Sarah - i couldnt have wished for a more perfect stay. Location is just idyllic, a short walk to Aysgarth Falls and what a breakfast, it makes my mouth water even now ! A Perfect place, quiet and sooo picturesque !

We were welcomed warmly by Chris, the oldie worldly farm ambiance & decor was spectacular & felt so relaxing & calming. The birdsong was stunning & the breakfast was delicious & we’d definitely recommend this place & stay here again when we come back to the area.

Great Pub & Hotel. Run by Emily & Claire. Made to feel very welcome on every visit. Staff are great friendly & outgoing. Nothing is ever too much trouble . From the moment you walk through the door to leaving it's a lovely relaxing stay. Rooms are lovely & comfortable with everything you need. Food is lovely as well, very plentiful & reasonably priced. We love visiting the Wheatsheaf. And we can't wait to visit again in January. Keep up the good work we would not stay anywhere else

Very well equipped bedroom and bathroom- every detail had been thought of. Big fluffy white bath towels . Good quality shower gel, moisturiser etc. Selection of teas, coffee, biscuits. Room warm and welcoming . Chef very helpful . Cooked breakfast excellent

fantastic Breakfast, very friendly hosts, fantastic friendly conversation and helping, a perfect stay! We get a free map for our day-trip with a lot of recommends - simply perfect!
