Diana hosted us extremely well at Carents House. We had a very comfortable night in this cosy apartment, and enjoyed having dinner on the balcony ( M & S in Yeovil). I particularly liked the feather bedding ( just like home!) - far more conducive to a good night’s sleep than a polyester duvet! Quiet, friendly accommodation with excellent breakfast. Eggs are from the hens in the garden.

There wasn’t breakfast, it’s advertised as bed and breakfast you pay for bed and breakfast yet on arrive you find out via a fact sheet that due to Covid breakfast won’t be provided, if I knew that before I would have stayed somewhere else

very welcoming. Nice breakfast. outdoor space. We played a fun bowling like game called skittles. Host Ann was very nice! She made dinner reservations for us at a neighboring pub. it was very nice!

Can't fault the accommodation, facilities, hospitality, location, anything in fact, especially at the price. Ideally located for walking, lots of pubs, places to eat/visit a short drive away.

What a cozy little find this place was. There were lots of features from the original coaching inn and you really could enjoy the history of the place. Our room was big and well-appointed with all mod cons and immaculately clean. The room we were allocated was on the ground floor, as we had specifically requested and our late check in was easily accommodated. There was separate main entrance for our rooms so we were not disturbed in any way by the pub, but it was a nice old untied village pub with real ales and local ciders so we wouldn't have minded anyway. The room was very warm with traditional central heating we are used to at home so we could have it as warm as we liked (and we like it warm!). The food was amazing and the prices very good indeed. We had fresh hake with vegetables in a lovely sauce and the roast lunch with all the trimmings was superb. They even make their own bread. What made the experience exceptional was the staff - they could not do enough for us and were attentive to even the smallest request. We will definitely be returning.

Definitely stay here again, friendly staff. A spotless room and very comfortable bed lovely breakfast. Couldn't have helped me more while waiting for the AA after my car had broke down in the car park. Thank you Preston's
