The rooms have been restored to the original feel and look of that time, yet modern and pristine. Breakfast is lavishly served at a terrace overlooking the mountain where St Francisco of Assisi might have walked. Peaceful, comfortable, delicious. Parking is free and easily accessed about 100 M away. The Hotel is right in the town of Spoleto, offering many interesting walks and shopping. Our hosts, the Hotel owners and restorers were gracious and helpful and we enjoyed their company, as well as the staff that serves the breakfast.

Nazzaro was the perfect host! We hiked the Cammino di San Francesco and arrived in Poreta on Easter Sunday. He made sure we could have lunch in a local shop (which was closed) and drove us to a great restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh local products, and he even packed the leftovers for our hike. Our stay at Villa del Cardinale was truly an amazing Cammino experience.

It is a cozy place to stay in, just like in the pictures, with a great history and an authentic feel that shows in all the details. Daniele is a great host. He gave us thorough instructions to reach the property, then waited for us despite our late arrival, and he was there to help us with anything we needed during our stay. Since we were the only guests at the time, he was nice enough to give us the keys for the floor, with the living room and the kitchen at our private disposal. So we had a whole beautiful apartment for ourselves at the price of one room. It was also nice to meet his lovely parents and pets. Thank you for everything.

I spent 3 nights în ''La Torre ''. We have been accomodated în the room ''Barbarosa'' which looks exactely like in the site pictures. It is a lovely room with cozy atmosphere situated in a historical building, very well preserved. Everything in the room was fully functional and very clean, perfect for me and my wife. Our host, Stefania exceeded our expactations being super nice and keen to satisfy all our needs. We felt absolutely great in this accomodation, definitively a place which deserves the highest score and all recommendations.

Pietro and his father Giorgio were very helpful, supporting all our requests. The room is new, nice and comfortable. All new facilities are well selected. There is a big jacuzzi in the garden. They have a free hotel parking ticket for a nearby location, where there is a free escalator up to the town piazzas and locations.
