Breakfast was excellent. The hostess got food requests at the store and brought the food at the time we requested. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. Comfortable bed. No memory foam mattesses in Italy, but we slept comfortably. We were on our way by car from Catania to Palermo and this was a nice rest stop for us. She brought her English speaking friend to translate which was very helpful.

Pamela and Giuseppe welcomed us very nicely, helping us parking the car and even taking the trouble to go at a distance to get us dinner, as it was the day after Easter and everything around was closed. Breakfast was amazing, with everything one might need, including home-made cakes and marmelads. Rooms nicely decorate, some of them with a fantastic view, as Enna is on top of a hill.

Camere D"Artista is outstanding - each room is inspired by a particular artist and the paintings and furnishings are exquisite. It is light, airy and spotlessly clean. The parents of the owner are fantastic hosts and go out of their way to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible - they slso suggest interesting places to visit and excellent restaurants nearby. The location near the centre of town is perfect for walking easily to the historic castle. The Villa di Romana is within an hour's drive through beautiful countryside - it is the most famous example of Roman mosaics in the world and cannot be missed. So wonderfully restored and full of character. Loved that we were able to relax in communal areas with the other couple we were travelling with. Hosts were great. Wish we'd been able to stay more than three nights.
