Truly incredible breakfast, can't be overstated. Welcoming and lovely host with great tips. I mentioned briefly I was interested in a short nature walk - got instructions (a hand drawn map!!) how to reach a nearby viewing location where I saw the Alps, beautiful. Also easy location for starting off your day at the Foundation Beyeler - bus goes often and nearby. Returning is easy as well - on demand night bus in the evening, parked at the last stop of the normal bus. Told driver the address and got off right outside the door to the B&B. Booking here also gives you a BaselCard - 50% discount on many museums, activities in Basel.

I was very very happy with the host, and he was very mindful and accommodating. The facilities were very clean, even the washroom. The host was very helpful in guiding me around Basel, and I felt comfortable and welcomed.

Everything in the house is steeped in history, charm, and beauty. Immediately upon walking in the gate to the property, you are greeted with an elegant garden. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.

The restaurant has good meals and the staff are super kind.

Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 401 WC in the hallis, out the room asub Baselis, 1,4 km kaugusel loomaaiast, 2,4 km kaugusel Baseli juudi muuseumist ja 1,8 km kaugusel Baseli Kunstmuuseumist. Great location, central, quite, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money!
