This place deserves more than 5 stars. The location is THE BEST you could ever imagine. Right at the edge of a national park with view onto a lake you see lots of macaques and langurs, birds, mongooses and with a bit of luck elephants roaming around, sometimes they come very close and are just 2 few meters away. No worries there is security fence as you know it from national park areas inbetween. The cabins, very exclusively as there are only 2 available, are perfectly equipped, spotless clean, airtight - so no bugs will bother you as long as you exercise common sense to keep doors closed and come with very good working air-conditioning. You have a nice cozy seating area/porch attached to watch the animals while you are enjoying meals or ice-cold drinks. Bringing your binoculars to view animals further away is recommended. Sanka is THE BEST host you could ever imagine, very warm welcoming and always smiling, and very attentive. He is always available, happy to serve you his delicious food and ice-cold drinks to your room, everything for very reasonable prices. He helps to arrange safaris for you, provides amazing advise on sightseeing, loves to exchange experiences with his guests. He is such a lovely person, himself still very excited about the wildlife, it was hard to leave this place. Ensure to reserve ahead as this place has only 2 cabins and is of course very popular. Radha Tourist Home se encuentra en Polonnaruwa y dispone de jardín, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The place was great ..... Great location .... The room was great .... The Staff were great & very help full ...... The Breakfast was big ..... The Evening meal was Great ..... They helped me when my Camera Battery charger was broken ( Your son was great he fixed it ) .... They Organised my Safari for me ....

Man Guest Polonnaruwa se encuentra en Polonnaruwa, a 2 min a pie de Polonnaruwa Clock Tower, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. El hotel bien. El personal bien. Polonnaruwa, no tanto. Es un pueblo casi no hay nada y ver las ruinas vale 30 USD por persona... al contrario que en otros sitios de Sri Lanka, te tratan mucho mas como a un turista al que venderle algo etc.

Lakshman is one of the best hosts I've ever met! Due to a train delay, I arrived at the guest house late on the day of check-in, but Lakshman was still very patient and waited for me. When visiting the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, he recommended a cost-effective and fantastic tuk-tuk driver. Before departing, he even picked lotus flowers from a pond for me to offer to sleep buddha! Lakshman's thoughtfulness made me have a great impression of Sri Lanka!

Very nice and kind people. We booked a Safari trip and rent bicycles here. They where very helpful and everything was good arranged! We also ate dinner here, this tasted good!!
