Situated in Taupo, 35 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley and 16 km from Great Lake Convention Centre, Hilltop Whakaipo Estate features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared... 在小红书上看到不少推荐这家的，而且提到有农场小动物，提到的帖子无一不高度评价这次住宿体验，所以预订了。在离陶波中心大概开车15分钟的小山坡上，非常安静，房间就在山顶上，住在景里的感觉，超出预期的漂亮，建议早点到达民宿，天气好的时候直接可以看到夕阳，早上一起床就能原地看日出。房东有三条拉布拉多，非常乖对人非常友好，完全不用害怕反而很想多花时间和狗狗一起玩，当然如果害怕的话住宿的空间狗狗是完全不会进入的，可以放心。房东这间民宿设施水准很高，之前做了攻略说新西兰的酒店大部分没有拖鞋牙刷牙膏，但这间都有配备，淋浴条件都很新很好，房间也很漂亮，干净美丽的地毯还有备货充足的水吧台，还有一本详细的册子介绍了陶波当地的景点和活动，我们也从中得到了新的有效信息。我们是夏天入住，但我观察到床垫底下还有放类似于电热毯的东西，连床头的台灯都是可以直接连接usb线的，给万一没有带转换插头的客人提供了便利。诸如以上种种的小细节，房东真的非常贴心了。另外值得一提的是房东的整个大房子都很漂亮，住宿是分开的互不打扰，却能最及时地提供帮忙，特别是早餐，房东自己做了菜单，作为一个民宿还能有丰富的brunch选择，而且很好吃！我们离开之前房东先生还带我们去看了他们自己的鹿，鹿的数量还不少，有一只梅花鹿长得尤其漂亮，我还体验了喂食小鹿，很开心。最后对中国客人来说，房东太太是一个中国人，来自深圳在新西兰已经30多年了，所以语言交流实在是便利，并且能很好地跟她了解纯正的新西兰当地生活信息，人非常亲和耐心，聊天十分愉快。总之到这间民宿住你能真心体验到新西兰生活的一种自然简单轻松自洽的氛围，而不仅仅是旅途中一个睡觉歇脚的地方，我非常欣赏及珍惜这样高品质的民宿的存在，真诚推荐各位！

This was one of our favourite places in our month-long trip in NZ. It had an amazing location, with huge beautiful gardens and lovely views. It was located uphill (which was a bit of a challenge for our small car, but once up, we didn't want to leave). We were upgraded to a lovely double room which opened up to the garden. The shared spaces were excellent, such as the well-kitted kitchen, outside sitting areas, and the large bathroom. The hot tub and breakfast were a great bonus too! Our hosts were very nice, friendly and chatty and we would certainly recommend staying here!

The location is amazing, 10 minutes out from Matamata surrounded by beautiful mountain and farmland scenery. Brenda was very welcoming and friendly. Her cat even more so! The bed was to die for and it was lovely to relax in the hot tub in the evening. My daughter loved the garden with the play equipment and little Hobbit hole. Great location to go to Hobbiton and Tauranga.
