The hosts were the best and they really made this stay perfect. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and speaks English, which is very useful for Chiang Muan, as it is off the tourist map and not many people do. We got some great tips on local restaurants and the breakfasts we had were delicious, three different presentations for each morning we were there. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable and the air-con worked well because it was very hot (38 degrees plus). There is nothing resort wise fancy about Siri...but for travellers, it is a very pleasant, quiet and relaxing place to kick back and enjoy the day-to-day rhythm of country life in a small town in Thailand...as well as a being a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

Excellent location. 1 minute walk from the lake and close to cafes and the night marke. One day in Phayao was a lovely experience and it was easy to enjoy it here. Rooms not amazing but cheap and the building has character. Can not expect more for the price.
