The camping pods are so lovely and clean and have everything you need for a nice chilled trip. We stayed there for one night and used the bbq facilities which are located outside each pod. Everything you need is on the decking in a lock box. Parking is very close to the pods and so are the washing facilities which are also very clean with a good shower. Each pod has its own small bathroom. We will definitely be back!

Free parking at the cottage is definitely a bonus when visiting Brighton. You can easily catch a bus from outside the cottage and save yourself the trouble of expensive parking in the city!!!

    Ideal location for those walking the South Downs Way. The room we had was beautifully designed with a very large bathroom. Really great breakfast, with great choice and cooked freshly for us. The bar has local beers from the brewery in the next road.

    Do your research, this is not a hotel, it is a compact self contained studio type apartment, in a residential area. Do not let that put you off. It is very well decorated, very clean and well equipped for a couple. The terrace is a sun trap, very relaxing to chill at end of day. We chose the location as a base to travel out from the town of Lewes. Meadow view suited us perfectly, it is about 20 minutes in to town walking, or a 5 minute drive. essentials were replenished daily. We had a good stay. The internet connection was very good.

    The location is ideal and the room is charming. Arrival was completely hassle-free as I was able to let myself in using a key code. Vicky the landlady was extremely helpful and attentive, checking in the second day to ensure that everything was to our liking. I'm immensely grateful to her for allowing us to check out at 3pm as it gave us time to go on a wonderful walk on the downs. I look forward to booking with Monty's again soon.
