I loved this place / lots of lovely places to hang out. The breakfast room / terrace was the best- there were so many birds to watch. Unfortunately due to rain and cloud I never saw the volcano but it didn’t dampen my stay. In the dark - Edmundo took me and another guest around the garden and we saw lots of wildlife- it was amazing / I saw more there than I did on the night / jungle trek! The room was perfect - large - great shower with really hot water and a mini fridge. All the staff were super. I only had one breakfast and it was good.

La Fortuna Natural Green bevindt zich op 2,8 km van La Fortuna-waterval en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. heerlijk rustig gelegen huisje. de toekans en apen zitten in de tuin. top locatie als je een huurauto hebt. er zitten een paar restaurantjes en een kleine supermarkt op loopafstand maar het centrum is net te ver lopen. het ontbijt is heel lekker en er wordt goed voor je gezorgd.

Onca Tours & Treehouses in San Rafael biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Prachtige omgeving en super vriendelijk personeel. We hebben genoten van de accommodatie én van de tubing op de Rio Celeste. Onze dochter van 4 mocht ook mee en vond het fantastisch (haar woorden).

Hotel Boutique Casa Del Rio ligt in Fortuna, op 4,1 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 6,3 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. Quiet , peaceful, super friendly staff. Very comfortable beds , great breakfast and they accommodated my need for GF as I am Coeliac. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the rooms were huge. Amazing wildlife, we saw toucans , iguanas and heard the howler monkeys.

Super goede locatie om veel te ondernemen rondom La Fortuna. Fijn dat je niet in de chaos van La Fortuna zelf zit. Prachtige bungalow, mooie ruime badkamer en het werd iedere dag schoongemaakt. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding uitstekend. Aardig personeel wat een heerlijk ontbijtje komt brengen sochtends. Tip: het restaurant El Chante Verde zit op loopafstand van de bungalow en is erg gezellig/lekker. Zeker reserveren, want bij ons zat het beide dagen (vrijdag&zaterdag) vol!

Chalets Silencio del Bosque is gelegen in Fortuna in de regio Alajuela, op 10 km van La Fortuna-waterval en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. The food was fantastic, cooked and delivered to us. Authentic tico food straight from the owner's kitchen. The host even led us on a little tour of the property at dusk to have a look at all the cool little frogs (ranas) and other critters which I would highly recommend. The location is great and very peaceful/serene. The hosts were genuinely the nicest people we met during our trip and were very generous and went the extra mile.

Cabañas Sueños del Arenal ligt in Fortuna, op 5,7 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 7,8 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

Cecropia Ecolodge is gelegen in Fortuna, op 31 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 34 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. The location itself in the middle of the forest is magical. The owners are super kind and they cook delicious homemade local food for breakfast and dinner. Finally, their incredible passion for nature and animals which makes the stay and the night tour very interesting and enriching

Las Pavitas Cottages bevindt zich in Fortuna, op 14 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 7,5 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. Prachtig gelegen huisje met uitzicht vanaf het terras op de vulkaan. Huisje is goed ingericht. Er is zelfs een wasmachine.
