It was beautifully decorated and thought out, it had everything we needed, it was in a very lovely village, it was so near the main road, but without hearing the road, the lady that let us in was so friendly and nice and tried really hard to think of everything we needed. We’d love to be back soon. Marvellous! Can’t think of a single issue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was very good although a little costly. Dinner was very good. On checkout we were given water and apples for our journey which was a lovely touch.

Irurtzun is a small city with not much to offer in terms of cultural or culinary attractions. However, we passed by when the festivities for carnaval were on. Several groups and a short parade took place on the main square, which was fun.
A very good independent hotel. Rooms were in perfet condition and very clean. A very comfy bed, a great night's sleep. Air-Con worked well in the rooms, and the window opened fully too to get some fresh air in at night.
Reception & bar & restaurant staff were excellent.
breakfast and the evening meals were good value.
I stayed as a cyclist, and found the secure cycle storage service to be excellent, especially all the tools etc available for my use, including electric charging points.
Another lovely stay at Hotel Plazaola (we are staying again on our way back from the UK in 3 weeks ). As always a very friendly welcome for us and our dog and our favourite hotel in Northern Spain for convenience, dog friendly and very helpful staff. We now have a plug in hybrid(o) car and the Wena charger worked great. Perfecto, muchas gracias!!! Hasta Pronto!!! Tostada muy buena!!!
This was a return visit. I have used the hotel a number of times on journeys to and from Portugal. It is delightful, always welcoming, staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms spotless and comfortable. Dinner enjoyable and very reasonable. I usually travel on my own and always feel secure in my stay.
Yet another great stay at Hotel Plazaola (must be into double figures now) on our way back to the UK. Dog friendly with an electric car charging point that works, was available and not silly expensive. Improved menu in the bar, good breakfast, happy days, will stay again!!!
We always look forward to dinner at the Plazaola. Such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff always make the effort to meet our requests. The hotel itself is very comfortable - but it is the warmth of the staff which really makes the difference.
Honestly a great little hotel with very nice staff and a great breakfast. we arrived pretty late but the staff was extremely. They have a parking space as well which was great and the room was really clean.
The rooms are nice and modern. The receptionist lady is very nice and friendly. It is a very valuable point entering to hotel with such a nice welcome provided by her. (we were with two kids and a dog)
Hotel was comfortable, great value for money and just a short drive from pamplona. there was a cafe/bar for food and drinks and it was probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Spotless.
This hotel is well placed next to the motorway. We stopped here to break the trip from France to Spain. Checking in and out was easy - we did not eat here.
Staff in hotel and bar were excellent. Very helpful with future bookings. Location close to Via Verde. Cycles well stored. Would definitely stay again.
