    We came from Fermoy co.

We came from Fermoy co. Cork to attend the dingle food festival. While we were a consideration distance from dingle the drive to dingle from Kells was lovely and the accommodation and staff at the accommodation were very accommodating.

This is a lovely peaceful spot and the gardens are really special. It’s a little out of the way so you definitely need a car. Everything about the accommodation was top quality. Would definitely recommend the Thai food. There were lots of options for breakfast and portions were generous.

    A wonderful location.

A wonderful location. We stayed in the 'garden room' which was amazing. We arrived during a heat wave and I'm presuming it's because it was an old house, but it was our first night sleeping in a cool room. If u arrive during colder weather there is a stove in the room which I presume can be lit. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjacent restaurant and I would rate it as 10 out 10.

A beautiful little quiet nook on the western end of the Ring of Kerry. I would love to see the village have a little coffee place or bar/lounge for people to enjoy the lovely setting and views from there.

Kells was only a stop over on our way to Dingle so my expectations were not up to much. However, I absolutely loved Kells, the scenery when driving towards the bay was fantastic. The bay was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Wish I had time to stay in Kells for a few days, will definitely return. The local pub did good food and live music. Another town worth staying in would be 'Adair,' full of charming thatched cottages ( on route to Dingle).

Victoria was a charming hostess. When we arrived, we had not eaten, and she suggested a delicious Thai restaurant just a few minutes walk from her house. The flora on her property, and throughout the neighborhood, is stunning. We even saw a waterfall on our short stroll. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, Victoria served a lovely continental breakfast that included a treat from her pastry-chef sister. We then had a short 30-minute drive to catch our boat to Skellig Michael.

Great house, perfect for 2 large families. Good size garden for kids to play in. Bbq on terrace overlooking bay was fabulous and we got the weather to enjoy it. Kells bay beach is a great, safe, sandy beach which is excellent to swim on and only 5 mins walk. Good location to explore Valentia, Skelligs and lots more without spending too much time in the car. Would happily go back and would recommend the house and area.

Great little B&B on the most spectacular location of Ring of Kerry - Kells. The staff (especially Jack) were very helpful in giving us tips on our journey. The room itself was cosy but very clean, constant supply of hot water, heating was on and bed was comfortable enough. It's a great spot to stop for the night get dinner and a drink and head to Valentia island the next day from Kells.

The location was absolutely incredible. We took a walk down to the beach through what I can best describe as a rainforest -- I didn't know Ireland terrain could look like that. Gorgeous waterfall along the way, sweet little beach area with a concession stand and ice cream.....totally wonderful. Victoria's House was a garden itself, and Victoria was a lovely attentive hostess.

Location was amazing. Our host, Jack, was very affable, and was able to give me some information about family in the local area, which enabled me to make some wonderful discoveries. Welll equipped kitchen, plenty of parking. Lovely shop and cafe with amazing views of the bay a couple of minutes away. Just a short drive to the beautiful Kells Bay.

Kells Bay House is a gem. It has been tastefully restored and you get more a sense of being a friend staying with a friend than a large anonymous hotel experience. The house, food and staff were fantastic but of course the showcase of this location is the garden - truly an exceptional experience.
