Perfect location, just outside Harrogate. The grounds are beautiful and to watch the cows grazing in the pasture next door and the bunnies and grey squirrels enjoying themselves was a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed our homemade hot breakfast ever morning and a varied selection of choices. Our host is a retired chef, so it does not get any better. The best surprise was returning from our day trips from Ripon, Ripley and other surrounding villages, to have fresh homemade Scottish shortbread along with a lovely selection of teas in our room when we returned. The hosts gave great recommendations of different villages, restaurants and places to see. They also provided us with names of restaurants within the North Yorkshire Dales area which was appreciated. Thank you Janet and Paul for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend to our friends and family. See you soon and look forward to another stay at the Hazel Manor.
