It is an amazing place to stay and eat. The interior decorations and equipment is unique and in line with the age of a building. It is so rare to find these days. The staff was polite, well mannered and knowledgeable about history and local area. I did not want to leave this place. Thank you all.

Set just 2.5 km from Playa de Barraña, Hotel Rústico Casa do Prado offers accommodation in Boiro with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. This is a lovely rural hotel run by a lovely host. Although she spoke no english and my Spanish is basic, we were able to understand each other enough. She provided us with a lovely breakfast and then helped to translate a walking guide for a local hike that was written only in the Galician language. The room was very comfortable with a sofa as well as all the usual ameneties. There is onsite parking in the hotel grounds, and the signs to find the hotel from the nearby town were excellently placed.

Set just 39 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Os Migueliños features accommodation in Catoira with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Beautiful old property which has preserved a sense of history, while providing modern comfort. The grounds had many fruit trees and flowers, and the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was so delicious and generous. We enjoyed trying a fruit that was new to us, feijoas. In the evening, it was helpful to have access to a little kitchen area with a refrigerator (I don't recall a stove, which we didn't need). The bed and sheets and pillows were very comfortable. Ursula and Dani are a 10+! So kind, and warm, and helpful, fun to talk to and generous with recommendations for exploring the area. The location was quiet and peaceful. It is quite convenient to Vilagarcia de Arousa, which has many restaurants and is quite nice to explore. Will definitely repeat.
