Sheraton is remarkable, but this stay was truly extraordinary thanks to Jack, who upgraded our room for a breathtaking experience with my husband. It was a delightful surprise, and his attention to detail was evident when he provided us with a fruit platter. Jack took the time to address the issues I had with my Bon Voy card, showcasing his dedication and care. He embodies the essence of exceptional service at Sheraton in Guangzhou and throughout China. Having traveled extensively, I've never encountered someone as proactive, kind, and patient as him. Thank you, Jack, for making my stay exceptional.

Even if you don't have a layover in Beijing, you should try this hotel. I upgraded my stay to a junior suite for an extra $70, which included breakfast and was very good value.

Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). Good hotel, nice staff. Very authentic and comfortable. 100% recommend.

Exceptional Stay with Excellent Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful establishment for an entire week, and I must say it was an absolute delight. The staff members were incredibly nice and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Notably, I greatly appreciated their flexibility in allowing me to check out late, which made my experience even more enjoyable. The room itself was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. I was fortunate enough to have a room with a stunning city view, which added an extra touch of magic to my stay. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight was truly a highlight of my trip. One aspect that truly stood out to me was the exceptional quality of the restaurant. The food served was of the highest standard, and every meal was a culinary delight. I highly recommend indulging in the gastronomic delights offered by the establishment's talented chefs. I would be remiss if I did not mention the outstanding assistance I received from two particular staff members, Tracy and Annie. Their professionalism and attentiveness were exemplary, especially considering my limited understanding of the Chinese language and my unfamiliarity with the city. They went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and comfortable during my stay, providing valuable insights and recommendations that greatly enriched my experience. Happy Dragon Alley Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Beijing, a 3-minute walk from Zhangzizhong Road Subway Station (Line 5). Housed in a historic Beijing hutong. Great hotel with lovely staff, always willing to help to ensure a good stay. Can recommend as a solo traveler. The location is great too.
