Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Dongdaemun is located a minute’s walk from Exit 9 of Dongdaemun Culture and History Park Subway Station (Line 2, 4 and 5). Free WiFi is available in all areas. We love Sotetsu Dongdaemun. I’ve stayed in two other hotels in the area and this one’s my favorite. The staff is very nice & efficient, there’s an elevator right outside the hotel that leads to the metro (the walk inside the metro to get to the trains is still a bit of a walk though); and it’s close to Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

A special thank you to the hotel staff who covers the night shift on 3 Oct. It was raining quite heavily that night and my friend and I waited in rain outside of Seoul station for almost 3 hours in midnight but could not get a taxi. I called the hotel 7 times for help and the staff was really responsive although he didn’t manage to get us a taxi either. I think I was quite rude for my last one or two calls but he was really comforting and considerate and he went down to the outside of the hotel to pick us up when we finally arrived. It might be hard to get a taxi in Seoul but it’s easy to get help from the hotel.

The Westin Josun Seoul Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the popular Myeongdong and 350 metres from the City Hall Subway Station. Location …convenience to Lotte Dept store and Young Lotte and myeongdong market. Easy access for tourists. Hotel staffs are helpful.
