This lodge is located on the banks of the Kavango River, along the route toward Botswana just before entering the Caprivi Strip. That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

The Weinberg Windhoek is set in Klein Windhoek and has restaurants and free parking is available. The rooms at the Weinberg Windhoek combine old world charme with modern amenities. Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We really liked the breakfast that was included and the staff who served it.

Great location and spacious room (thanks to an upgrade offer). Also, really wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby which kept me entertained in spite of some weather events. Kind and helpful staff not to mention a very nice morning buffet with eggs to order!!!

Situated a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Windhoek, Hotel Thule is located on a hillside and offers magnificent views over the city. It features a restaurant and bar. The staff were so wonderful! The food was delicious!

Hansa Hotel Swakopmund se nachází na pobřeží Atlantiku, 15 minut chůze od pláže Palm Beach, a nabízí 2 restaurace, bar a terasu. Nabízí zahradu a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. A traditional, well-run hotel. We had a suite (the Senator’s Suite) which was huge and made us feel like VIPs! The staff were all fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant every night, the food was excellent. I recommend trying the Hansa coffee! The hotel is in the centre of town, so very convenient. Hansa Hotel was our favourite accommodation whilst in Namibia! We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Great food, wonderful staff and we could not of wished for more. Don’t hesitate just book it, you won’t regret it.

What a delightful small hotel - beautiful rooms, beautiful communal space and the receptionist on duty was very helpful in helping us with restaurants, transport and finding something to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

Heinitzburg Boutique Hotel is a restored castle with a unique architecture, set on top of a hill in Windhoek. It features a pool in a manicured garden, a wine cellar and two restaurants. Everything, that is why I am a regular there
