Stunning building, refurbished to a very high standard

Rinoterra Minho is a wonderful place in all means: the location is perfect, the staff is professional and kind, the rooms are well planned and furnished. The place is very green and beautiful. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious. Highly recommend!👍

The staff was really polite and accommodating. We showed up a bit early and they just started pouring us champagne and feeding us until our room was cleaned and ready. Breakfast was nice, and the pool was the perfect temp.

Good location, very friendly and attentive stuff, fresh renovation, new furniture, the bed was very comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was quite varied and tasty.

We loved everything. It’s a very charming place in the countryside. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Above all, Joaquim, the owner is kind and helpful.

From the moment we arrived Ventozelo exceeded our expectations. We loved it all. The service was by far the best we’ve ever received even compared to a 5*. The restaurant on site had amazing food, the entire property and even our “no view” room has breathtaking views, the place was immaculate. We really loved everything about staying here.

When booking a trip to Duoro valley, my parents and I were told Six Senses was a must, but upon doing a little research, I came across the newly opened Torel Quinta da Vacaria. With only 2 reviews at that time (be it they were both 10/10 recommend) I was a little apprehensive to take the risk, but got the feeling it would be more cosy and authentic to the region. So we booked the newly opened Torel Quinta da Vacaria and it was the BEST DECISION EVER! Words cant describe how incredible this hotel is!! From the staff, the facilities, the views, the grounds, the rooms, the decor, the pool, the spa, everything was exceptional- all you can expect from a 5 star hotel and then some! The hallways smell incredible! The beds were very comfortable. The mini bar, coffee, tea, water was plentiful. But What stood out was the staff. They are so incredibly kind and attentive. In addition to the somewhat expected courtesies of a 5 star Hotel (i.e. helping with bags, valeting the car, activity and restaurant advice) they truly went above and beyond- making arrangements with service providers outside of the hotel, leaving water bottles in our car for when we picked it up, being extremely patient with our constantly changing plans and our somewhat chaotic group, they were always happy to help with a smile. Last and most touching, i fell ill on our last day- they offered to allow me to stay as long as I needed to rest, (i slept until 3pm!) and even offered to call a doctor to come to the hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant, the wines, the pool, the spa and more. Everything was perfect!

The staff were very attentive! The place was beautiful and the spa and pool were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

Love this beautiful place on the coast Husband and wife take exceptional care of the property and its visitors. Breakfast was amazing and everything we could have wanted.

Eduardo and his parents were kind and gracious hosts. They went out of their way to make our check in, stay and visits to the vineyard as convenient as possible. Eduardo also especially arranged a pick up and drop to and from the Pinhao railway station as he was available at the time and at a minimal fee. The place was beautiful and clean. We got to taste the Portuguese traditional cuisine for dinner and breakfast was good with plenty of options at the buffet.

The hotel is very close to important attractions. A few garages near by of you have a car. Excellent breakfast including healthy juices. Very chic details.
