Very pleasant accommodation in the medina of the lovely town of Mahdia. Mahdia, although not as well known as it's beachside counterparts, is peaceful and attractive. A great place to spend some Tunisian time.

We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay.
