The location could not have been better. It was a 3-4 minute walk to two small grocery stores. The area was overflowing with restaurants and shops. The owners had thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did a lot of our own cooking to take advantage of the fresh vegetables from the market and the only thing we ever wished for was an oven mitt! And, to top it off, the bed was the most comfortable ever!

The hosts were lovely. The room was beautiful and the outdoor patio space was a great bonus. We bought bread, cheese, wine, etc...from a local shop and had a lovely meal al fresco one evening. Michelle immediately offered plates, glasses and cutlery, nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfasts offered a lovely wide variety of delicious foods to set us up for the day. Highly recommend.

Almost like being in your own home with all of amenities. Owner extremely gracious and accommodating. Up on a hill with a great view. Private parking a huge plus. Better than most hotels and B&Bs I've stayed in.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner and wish we had planned to stay longer. The photos don’t do the place justice. The room we stayed in was basic but the property is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed a morning by the pool and in the evening a glass of wine in the garden before heading down to the old town for dinner. A very relaxed setting but close to the town. We would love to come and stay here again. Lots of things to do and see in the old town. The two restaurants that were recommended to us by the owners were also fantastic.

Perfect location, with Ssrlat centre and its amazing restaurants, shops and historic buildings all within an easy walk. Owner Alex was also super-helpful in helping us adjust our travel plans at short notice - much appreciated!

The location of this hotel is perfect for walking around Sarlat. Staying in a historic building was fun. We had free parking 5 minutes away. When we left a folder of documents at the hotel, they called us promptly which we so appreciated.

All the common areas are very clean and cosy. The room was really comfortable. Breakfast is great value for the price. The staff were always really helpful and nice.
