Pension und Apartment Edelweiß enjoys a peaceful but central location in Heiligenblut, just 30 metres from the nearest ski lift of the Großglockner Ski Area. Very cozy and charming house. The view from the balcony (at Grossglockner mountain range) is magnificent. The owners, Barbara and Christian, are polite and attentive. The continental breakfast was ample, with a great deal of variety. My wife has some food allergies (gluten+dairy), however, Barbara took care that she had enough alternative options. Heiligenblut is a cute little town, well located within High Tauern alpine range and near to Grossglockner. We were most impressed with the nearby "Grossglockner High Alpine Road". It is a "Mecca" for cyclists and motorbike riders and reaches some incredible places such as Edelweissspitze or Pasterze glacier that offer some breathtaking views. Out of several towns near this road, Heiligenblut is likely the optimal choice.
