What an amazing traditional Inn. We only stayed for one night as a little treat but how incredible. The staff are amazing, we had a lady called Minori (apologies if I have got this wrong) who was simply splendid. From the moment you arrive you feel like you're in a Ghibli movie, with 3 scalding hot private onsen to choose from (book when you're there by writing your name in the slot), and 2 gendered onsen which switch at 7pm. We arrived at 4pm and made the most of our bath time, taking one before dinner, one after, and one just before breakfast. The dinner and breakfast was first rate - one of the best experiences of our lives. The service and spectacle alone is worth the extra fee - inform them before arrival you want dinner. Futon beds made out for you were so comfy it was hard to wake up! Overall I could not fault it. We would have loved to stay longer but couldn't really afford it. I would definitely watch a video online about staying at a Ryokan just so there are no confusing aspects to contend with. If you're doing all the Hakone activities in the day like we did it is fantastic, but I would really recommend making the most of your time here and would advise getting here no later than 5pm as dinner is at 6pm.

Beautiful wooden-style Japanese traditional room. Comfortable and clean with a scenic view located on a hill. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the free onsen!

Laforet Club Hakone Gora Yunosumika kan skilte med naturlige varme kilder, og tilbyr rom med moderne innredning eller tradisjonell japansk stil. It was very clean and comfortable. The individual onsen in the room was so convenient and made it exceptional. All guests had to remove their outdoor shoes and the staff wiped the wheels of the luggages to keep the place clean. Very impressive!

Hakone Suimeiso ligger 3 minutters gange fra Hakone Yumoto stasjon og en 15-minutters spasertur fra Sounji-tempelet. The hot spring on the property was amazing. It was beautifully designed and has been maintained very well by the staff. After using the public bath, they amenities available: lotion, shaving supplies, and hair products are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable as well. It is right next to the train station so easy to get to.

A 5-minute walk from Koen-Shimo Cable Car Station, cosy family-run ryokan Lalaca features indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths which use natural hot spring water directly pumped from the source. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Meals were authentic Japanese, but they also gave my ten year old son a bit of western food to fill him up. The room and onsen were very clean and comfortable.

The room size is not spacious but much larger than expected. There are almost complete toiletries except for a shower cap. Big bathtub, soak comfortably Location near the train station within walking distance.

A 10-minute train from Enoshima Island, 8 Hotel湘南藤沢 features art, fashion, music and food reflecting the atmosphere that the Shonan region is famous for. Very convenient to the public transportation (less than 3 mins walk to the bus station and train station) and very close to the sightseeing places and restaurants as well.
