Set in a restored Victorian homestead, Macaron Boutique Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and panoramic views of Franschhoek Mountains. Location was excellent, close to everything. We were able to walk to the restaurant at night, perfectly safe. The staff at breakfast were very accommodating. Food was laid out beautifully. The staff made your coffee fresh for you every morning, whether cappuccino or espresso. And they asked if they could prepare you a hot breakfast, eggs, etc. The rooms were very clean and paid attention to little details that make a difference…good quality soaps and shampoo, bathrobe and slippers. They arranged for a driving for us before and after our stay. And had good recommendations regarding vineyards and restaurants. The owner was onsite during our visit and was very friendly and took time to chat with us.

Everything was just fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We had our own terrass just outside the room where we enjoyed the lovely breakfast and could relax in the afternoons. And it was just close to the beautiful pool area and the garden as well. Upon our request we could also enjoy a delicious three course dinner one evening. This place is a gem amd what a lovely welcome we had. Conrad and his team are amazing, the rooms and the whole hotel is decorated with taste, the service is perfect and the breakfast is from heaven. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to extend the magic in Franschhoek and have an exceptional experience. We opted for the room with private pool, gorgeous!!
