outstanding in every way. A beautiful home in a lovely village and the local restaurant was fabulous. Maria and all of the people I contacted (!) were so helpful. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Such a special place we absolutely loved it.

I chose this property because I was having positive experiences with casa rural and small B&B type properties while walking the Camino de Madrid. It was the closest of its type to Santervas de Campos that I could find. It totally exceeded my expectations. Jesus and the staff have built and are operating a true rural hotel with the characteristics to match. I took lunch, drinks, dinner, and breakfast at the property (full board plus). It was all terrific and offered a very good value. My room was modern and fully appointed, but still rustic (i.e., warm rather than cold atmosphere). I enjoyed the rural areas of the Camino de Madrid and the mesetas. This was a great choice for a final stay before intersecting the Camino Frances.
For Camino pilgrims - note that Jesus arranged special transport to/from Santervas for me so that I could get from and back to the exact point on the Camino to continue my journey. It was very easy and worth the effort if you are looking for an experience like this.

I’ve stayed here several times and liked it. The new management is just as good, very nice and friendly. And the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. It’s an isolated stretch on the Camino and this hotel/albergue is a lifesaver.

The property was beautiful - an oasis, truly. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and one of the best places I stayed so far on my Camino. The pilgrims meal was very good, and the bar was available throughout the afternoon.
