  "The location couldn't have been better. We were just a few minutes from the Princes Street tram stop, Waverly bridge, and dozens of bus stops. Even with a 2-year-old, we could walk from the apartment to Edinburgh Castle in 30 minutes. The apartment was very nice. We found it to be impeccably clean (and we're pretty picky). The kitchen appeared to have been recently updated and was stocked with every appliance, utensil, glassware, and serving-ware we could have ever needed. The bedrooms were lovely. My daughters (2 and 7) actually wanted to sleep in their room, which is saying something since they never want to sleep. The bathroom was very small but was in great working order for our stay. Water pressure is not great but that's kind of expected in an older building. No complaints whatsoever. We would stay in this apartment again when traveling to Edinburgh."

  "Everything was perfect for the beginning - the owner contacted us in advance with all the practicalities, which we had to know before coming to Edinburg. A lot of additional information was left in the apartment as well. Apartment is very well equipped - it has everything you need and event what you usually do not need during holidays :). It is located on a very cosy street, which has its own history and is charming with small boutiques just in front of the apartment, nice restaurants in 5 steps from the apartment.   "The apartment is even nicer in reality than shown in the photos and the location is excellent - couldn't recommend more! The apartment was very spacious. My favourite room was the living room which was not only spacious but very cosy as well. The three bedrooms were also very spacious. The apartment had high ceilings which added to the space. Excellent kitchen with all the cooking utensils you need for a nice meal in the dining hall. Good, clean bathrooms and strong showers. Another thing we loved about the apartment was its close proximity to the city centre. Restaurants, shops and tourists attractions were all within a 5 to 10 minute walk away. The castle and Royal Mile were a 10 minute walk and the apartment is situated on a quiet road in a beautiful traditional building away from the noisy centre and traffic. Jamie was a great host - he was on hand to help with any questions we had about the apartment itself, but also the surrounding areas of Edinburgh. Nothing was too much and we really appreciated the prompt replies and ease of checking in. I would not hesitate to stay here should I visit Edinburgh again"

On arrival, Alexis was waiting to greet us at the apartment, her directions were accurate and the location is perfect! The apartment has everything you need for a stay and more.... with personal touches such as fresh bread, butter, milk, treats on arrival, coffee machine, and not forgetting my first experience of a Haggis sandwich!! Our stay was extremely comfortable, the apartment is small but a perfect size for two, it screams chic & luxury with the location in old town literally below the castle, just 10 minutes walk away from the royal mile and surrounding places of interest. It is close enough to places of interest but also it's far enough away to be quiet and have no problem sleeping. Alexis was very knowledgeable about the area, and took time to show us things on the map! Her apartment exceeded my expectations, it was the perfect retreat, cosy and comfy with all the amenities of home, we didn't want to leave.
