“It's Winter time and this the only hotel in the whole Province no.3 who gave me double blanket. 1 is Duvet n 1 is Woolen Blanket the room was not that cold too. There is a water heater but be prepared cause the water is either really hot water or really cold. There is no normal temperature. “For us this was the most perfect place to stay in Kathmandu, away from the crazyness of Thamel! Patan is an authentic neighbourhood with friendly people, nice restaurants (in any case try Cafe de Patan!) and the famous Durbar Square just around the corner. The hotel is a lovely traditional Nepali house, very well equipped and maintained. The staff is super friendly and they really made every effort to make us feel welcome and took great care of everything we needed (eg. they book your taxi, earlier breakfast because of flight etc.)! Not to forget the great breakfast in the lovely backyard garden!Our room was great and spotlessly clean. Highest recommendation - we will be back!”

“This was probably one of my favorite guest homes throughout my travels. The entire family and staff we're extremely hospitable and kind, they went out of their way to help me out in many ways and i feel blessed! They offered a great breakfast, the place was clean, and the location couldn't of been better. The views from the lower balconies and rooftop were great as well. Renish (the owners son) was also a huge help, he really made me feel at home there. Thanks again to the entire staff and family!”

Room is so nicely decorated with Nepalese cute details and very clean good linens and clean white toilet (no stains-which is important to me 😉) and kettle and tea, coffee and cookies. So grateful to stay in such beautiful historical traditional Nepalese house and owners gave us feel like home. Lovely breakfast and we had many free tea and drinks time in the garden. “I have spent 5 days at PATANsquared and wish I could stay longer. The staff is professional and friendly, from top managers to servicing personnel. The room is big, clean and very safe, the bathrpom has hot shower. Breakfast is tasty, and can be served on the roof top terrace which offers a a great view Sam, the manager, does his best to make you feel like home away from hpme. He is very helpful, gives sightseeong and shopping tips, organizes laundry service and even guides your taxi to his B&B. I wish to come again one day. A great value for the price.”

The hosts were absolutely lovely, we got a delicious homemade breakfast each morning and the room was beautiful (old style colonial with arched windows and wicker furniture). Huge room with a comfortable bed and a little library. Right outside the Patan Dubar Square within an easy taxi ride to Thamel. Much nicer area to stay in than the clogged tourist bedlam of Thamel and got a good local flavor. Lots of nice restaurants and little supermarkets nearby so really easy to get anything you need. We stayed for a week. Can't thank the hosts enough for taking such great care of us.”

“Hard to find words to describe our days at Sayami House. Starting with the amazing hosts, Ravi and Sushila, they are one of the sweetest people we have met on our trip so far. Breakfast is delicious, prepared with such care (be sure to taste!). The room is spacious, the bed is super comfortable and the shower has been the best of recent months. The location is also great, close to Durbar Square and restaurant options. Certainly the best option in Nepal, and one of the best we have ever known. It was great to spend these days with you both. “The flat is really nice, lot of space, clean , there is everything you need. Our host Bipin was the best we had. He made everything so that we feel comfortable. I was sick because of food poison in a restaurant and he brought me some medicine, and food to get better! He arranged everything for us to get to Bandipur. My girlfriend and I highly recommand this place :) PS : it’s a new flat so there is no sign for the moment and the name doesn’t appear on maps me but the GPS coordinates are right ;)”
