Located in the centre of Zermatt, Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel offers uniquely furnished rooms with open fireplaces and free WiFi. Opened in December 2010, it features a spa area. The property is right in the middle of the town. a very quick walk to the main station or if you call the hotel before you arrive, a shuttle picks you up on arrival.

Owners are very attentive and caring. Be sure to ask them for the daily skiing and weather suggestions as they have the kind of insight you get from living in the mountains. Breakfast is excellent. Location is also very convenient and they pick up and bring you to the train station.

Situated on a rock, 45 metres above the roofs of central Zermatt, guests access The Omnia via a tunnel leading to an elevator, which brings them right into the lobby. The location was amazing as were the facilities. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! The food was amazing!

First opened in 1879, Grand Hotel Zermatterhof is a traditional luxury establishment in a central but peaceful location in Zermatt. the location is central and convenient. this is an historic hotel but looks good and very nice - outside and inside. we have been in various luxury hotels and here you get the grand hotel experience. excellent staff. excellent pianist in the lobby. big nice spa. the breakfast hall is a masterpiece. we enjoyed both their restaurants, especially the fondue. they have an horse and carriage. from our room we saw the matterhorn. extremely recommended.

Unique Hotel Post is situated in the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the train station. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Some of the rooms boast views of the Matterhorn. Room: beautiful, the tub is a treat, view of Matterhorn with little balcony, amenities are nice. Loved the blanket, pillows and bed location is perfect near station and near shops breakfast was perfect in cozy room

All the staff from concierge to reception to restaurant to housekeeping are very polite, helpful and positive. Their dedicated attitude is focused on the perfect guest experience. The hotel has a wonderful spa, which is just what you need after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. Furthermore the ski room facilities are second to none with ventilated lockers for each room, and helpfully a ski shop is attached within the same building, so equipment rental can be charged to your room with one click. no need to leave the hotel to rent equipment or buy the latest gear. Located right in the village, so quite far from the ski lifts if walking in ski gear BUT the facilities, service & positive vibes outweigh this, and worth the daily taxi ride at 12 CHF each way to the ski lifts. However, being in the village means that you are right smack in the middle to shop in all the big brand watch & clothing stores, and have all the restaurants right on your door step. The lively part of town therefore is at your fingertips. The restaurants within the hotel are wonderful though, so you don’t necessarily have to venture out to dine. The rooms are perfectly clean, homely, well equipped and the suites are very spacious. Modern touch button showers and baths with rainfall showers, soft fluffy towels and also wonderfully heated when you come back after a day out in the snow. Comfy, homely with a Swiss touch of magic and the view of the Matterhorn or surrounding mountains. I keep returning every year, and truly highly recommend this wonderful hotel with all its fabulously helpful staff, which I cannot praise enough. I have stayed in all of Zermatt 5 star hotels, but the Mont Cervin Palace is the winner for me every time. Thank you to all the staff for making each stay more than memorable for all the right reasons.

As the first hotel ever built in Zermatt, the Monte Rosa is located right in the centre of the village and 400 metres from Zermatt Train Station. Great central location a short 5 min walk from Ski Bus. The staff were especially kind caring and attentive. The Breakfast and Afternoon Teas were also lovely.
