This is a lovely hotel near several beaches in the Sardinero neighborhood of Santander. Each room has a theme and ours was Tokyo. It was very comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom. The staff are all very welcoming and gave us good information about restaurants and transportation. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had with so many choices of fresh foods. We liked being in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to some lovely beaches and many restaurants.

Hotel Chiqui offers great views of the Cantabrian Sea and El Sardinero Beach. Set by the sea and just 3 km from Santander Ferry Terminal, it features an infintiy pool overlooking the surroundings. The hotel is well situated close to the beach with a nice view over the bay.

Nice local bars - in the evening we had a tasty toasted sandwich with a drink in one, a tasty coffee and toast for breakfast in another. Good supermarket within walking distance that sold newspapers. Convenient for catching the ferry to England the next day. Secure car parking. Friendly, helpful staff.
