Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located in a very nice area with shops and restaurants and pretty close to the center.

Everything was really great. The room, the staff, the restaurant and the position close to the city center. They also offer breakfast takeaway for who, like us, wanted to start an hike early in the morning. We didn’t find anything we would like to be improved.

Great location - near the central part of Funchal, many bus stops, a big supermarket, many restaurants and cafés. Very easy self check in process and e-key via an app. Very friendly and helpful personnel.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. Fantastic colonial style of the hotel, detailed theme on every corner on this place. The pool on the ocean had decent size and it was fantastic. All staff was very helpful and smiling all the time. Very comfortable rooms with cute design, fantastic view with amazing greenery.

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. Great location, good size room. I only stayed one night and it certainly did the trick.
