A very short walk from the beach, this pet-friendly Santa Barbara motel features an outdoor pool and modern guest rooms with cable TV. State Street is a 5-minute drive away. There was nothing not to like! From booking in to passing the cards back, everything went well!. One really sensible approach was to ask us if we wanted our towels changed every day (no! We don't at home so why when we are only there 3 days/4nights?). At the same, we were asked if we wanted our room cleaned daily; again the answer was No Thank You!

Staff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant on site was delicious, amazing service. Would definitely come again.

The Pacific Crest Hotel is located in the East Beach district in Santa Barbara, 1.7 mi from Santa Barbara City College. There is an outdoor pool and free private parking available on site. beautiful, easy to get to, easy parking, lovely interior decor. It looks like an old-school motel but the interiors are really fresh and lovely. Wonderful pool in the center, and perfectly located blocks from my conference. easy access to beach. Having the pool in the middle made it feel like everyone had a "view".

The hotel was in a good location - just a short walk to the seafront and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is really quite quirky - with some lovely decoration and a funky feel. Liked the shared space downstairs in reception where there was an honesty bar and where a simple breakfast was served (tea, coffee, juice, some fruit, bagels and pastries). We hadnt expected this so was a nice extra. There was also a big fridge and freezer where guests could keep own items as there was nothing in the room for this. There was a really nice outside area with comfy seating, a clean pool, table tennis table. The room itself was comfy and my son (12) loved sleeping in the murphy bed which pulled down over the main double bed. Had a really nice welcome and the offer of a complimentary drink on arrival from a very lovely member of staff/owner (Derek?)
