We stayed two nights in this gorgeous place. The road to get there is steep and we would advise to drive during the day, but we had no problem with our 2wd. The cabins were clean and comfortable, because of the temperature at night there is no need for AC. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The dinners in the evening were definitely worth it!

A perfect experience, in every aspect. We came as a family of 5, and took the bungalow. On arrival, the staff welcomed us at the parking lot and helped us. Gave us the perfect feeling of our stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous - in the woods, with a beautiful view and lots of wildlife around. We actually saw more animals there than in the parks. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a family of coaties. Then saw some more mammals, lots of birds and others. The room was big (2 floors) and with a large balcony with a wonderful view, and the bathroom downstairs is with a window to the forest - a great experience. It felt like they thought of all the small details: nets on the windows and doors, a/c, fans and heating, umbrellas to take, great local coffee. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, in a large space with a beautiful view as well. Can't explain, again, how wonderful the staff was!

This property is absolutely stunning. The owners of the property are both so lovely and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are huge, very very clean and beautifully decorated. The winner is the garden though, it is absolutely beautiful and such a nice place to relax and spot monkeys and other wildlife. It is about a 3.5km walk to the cloud forest and although it’s a bit out of Santa Elena there are nice restaurants and bakeries next door. There is also a big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. The hosts also provide you with a coffee maker in your room and coffee each day. It’s a really fantastic place to stay.

The place is nice, the rooms are cozy but the best thing are the hosts: best I have ever seen in years. They are more like travel agents than b&b hosts. They arrange experience, transport, tips, you name it. And cherry on the cake the complimentary fresh fruit brought in the morning. Totally recommended.

Really nice property. Large comfortable updated room. Convenient location. Pretty garden with lots of flowers and cacti. Loved sitting outside on the rocking chairs and watching the birds. Haydee was so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and she even did our laundry.

It was the best stay we had in our vacation in Costa Rica. Super friendly staff. Spacious and spotless crean room with very comfy king size bed. The room had breathtaking view towards their garden and towards the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. Very tasty breakfast with a lot of wild life activity. We spend 2 hours photographing variety of birds, monkeys and pizotes whilewe were drinking our morning coffee. They have very nice hiking trails where you can spot wild life around the trails.
