Mari was very kind and helpful, flexible re: check in and check out times. I travelled with a friend and Mari gave us great recommendations for hiking options and sightseeing nearby, She even left a bottle of wine and fruits for us, as well as coffee. I can highly recommend to stay with her. Also, the sofa bed was very comfortable.

The location is incredibly romantic, situated right on the lakeside of Como. The staff and service provided are absolutely sublime. When it comes to quality for the price, if you're looking for the absolute best, it's worth paying a little extra to have it, and here, it won't cost you too much.

We loved everything about this property! The location was perfect right next to the ferry, on the lake and a short stroll to the main square. Menaggio itself is the perfect place to base yourself for a trip to Lake Como as it is easily accessible to the rest of the lake while being slightly less touristy and flatter to walk around. Alessandro was a wonderful host, check in was easy and he provided so much local knowledge that made sure we got the most out of our week exploring the town and the lake. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped - it is clear that Alessandro has thought of everything that you may need to make your stay a pleasant one! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Sensational holiday and Villa Paola is perfect in every way!

I really enjoyed staying at this property it is located on the hill only 10-15 minutes walk from the center of the village. Stefano was increadibly nice, friendly and helpful. That apartment is brand new, super clean with the nice view on the lake. It has a good vibe

Really beautiful, unobstructed view of lake como. The house had everything we needed plus some extras (items for the pool when it’s open.). The welcome basket full of yummy Italian snacks and wine was a lovely touch especially given the odd hours of the local grocery stores. Easy 10 minute walk on a pedestrian path to the ferry and into town. Garage parking was also a plus. Also a nice little playhouse and kids books for small children. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The property was clean and cosy. It was a 13 min walk to the town. The hosts picked us up from the ferry and was very helpful. They gave us great recommendations and was polite and friendly. The beds were comfortable, the house had all the basics things you need for a holiday.
