The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms (they have massage shower panel ), and high quality service. I had breakfast on the beach and it was fantastic. They are also one of the few hotels that offer a nanny service for a small fee and Mr De Silva also arranged a trip for me so I felt safe with them. Highly recommended.

This property is exceptional, but better than the property are the host and his wife. It is a 7 min walk to a beautiful clean beach. 3 - 5 mins by tuk tuk to the city centre and various ayurveda centres, money exchange, pier88 (fantastic restaurant on the river). A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. we travel a lot, and this was one of the best stays we have ever had. the staff were incredible, the room was amazing, food was perfect. i couldn't recommend this place enough. they took care of our every need. seriously it was wonderful.

One of the best stays I've had in Sri Lanka. Perfect in every way possible. The room was large, perfectly clean and everything seamed seamed new. Stunning view. Very private as you it's only one apartment, on the top floor. Sam and his staff are absolutely amazing, taking care of you as if you were staying at the most expensive 5-star resort around ;) Sam's fish restaurant on the ground floor serves the top fish and seafood, all their specials were truly amazing. I heard it was said to be the best fish restaurant in the area, and I can only agree to that. In summery: Top stay, top people, top restaurant. Was planning to stay 2 nights, but stayed for 7 in the end :). Thanks Sam!
