A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. We saw group of 20 dolphins! The place is clean, spatious and simply amazing.

Beautifully landscaped and modern, comfortable furnishings. Each casita has big sliding glass doors onto their own private patio with views across to the island of Pico. Also the breakfast included amazing homemade breads, jams, yogurt, and juices and eggs from their own fruit trees and chickens - not to mention freshly made waffles - so delicious! The staff were so kind and helpful, and it was only a 6-minute walk into the little town where there were a couple restaurants and a small grocery store. We can’t wait to return!

Offering a barbecue and views of the sea, Saint Jorge Farm and Bungalows is located in Velas. Free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. It was really one of the nicest stays. The view and the location of the bungalows is so beautiful. Minimarket, black sand beach, natural pools and nice restaurants are nearby. But most of all - Filipe is such a great host. He really helped us with everything and we could always contact him with everything kind of issues. So we even decided to prolong our stay and came back a second time. Thank you for everything and we will surely come back.

Located in Fajã dos Vimes in the São Jorge Island region, Casas Dos Vimes features a patio. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We rented 2 houses for 10 people, but they were not close to each other. The owner very kindly noticed our problem and offered us two smaller houses instead of one bigger, so we were then close enough.
