The location of the Grand Hotel Royal is perfect to visit Pompeji. Only a 5 minutes walk to the Entrance and many restaurants. This hote is a quiet place in the middle of the place to be of Pompeji. The perfect hospitality of the Hotel Owner and his staff makes this stay unforgettable. The Hotel is perfect clean, your car is save in front of the hotel entrance, great breakfast and all what you need is around.Just perfect and we will come again, maybe for a vesuv walk or to visit the Amalfi coast.

Rooms are quite spacious. Close to the pool, breakfast area and parking. There are citrus trees all around! It was really amazing to go from car, find some nice ripe orange or tangerine on the tree and have some right there! Wine tasting and food pairing at the local restaurant was amazing and I left a lot of money for the wine which I took home. Also, comfy bed, good breakfast and all that stuff which doesn't need to be mentioned.

Great hotel. Carefully designed interior decoration and numerous books contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. Versatile breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the reception who really care that you make the most of your stay. They organized excursion to Vesuvius with pick up from the hotel and a private guided tour of Pompei archaeological site for us. They also gave us a lot of recommendations for Naples and Amalfi coast. The location is very practical, especially if you travel by car.

Manuela helped us with directions AND had us check out the 4th floor terrace, which no one should miss DINNER WAS OUTSTANDING!!! Luigi made it ever so special for us. We loved it! Great value, large bathrooms, right next to the Pompeii ruins, the breakfast room on the fourth floor gives you a panoramic view of the archeological park and Vesuvius, and the restaurant was great.
