The location is central and within walking distance to the historic area, shops and restaurants. Yet rooms facing the street had good sound proofing and were quiet. The air conditioner worked perfectly during this hot summer, rooms were very clean, and beds were comfortable. We had connected rooms which is very convenient for families. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. Unfortunately I couldn’t get their names but the receptionist on our arrival and at check out were very helpful.

Less than 1 km from Mercado San Miguel and a 13-minute walk from Puerta de Toledo, the property offers a terrace and a bar. Location, beautiful hotel, great restaurant

Set in a 19th-century building in the exclusive Salamanca neighborhood, ICON Casona 1900 by Petit Palace features stunning décor. Nice location, very nice breakfast, extremely clean rooms, made me happy and wanted to stay more. The receptionist who welcomed us at night was so so nice and she was so perfect!

Posada del León de Oro is located in Madrid’s La Latina district, 100 metres from Plaza Mayor and 200 metres from La Latina Metro Station. It offers free Wi-Fi. Stellar design. Unexpectedly sensational new architectural Re~do that fit perfectly in the 500 year old family owned hotel. Each member of the Staff was actually outstanding. Efficient. Unobtrusive. Professional as well as warm, welcoming and helpful.

Located in the centre of Madrid, the stylish Catalonia Plaza Mayor is at 600m from the Plaza Mayor and within 10 minutes’ walk of the Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums. We had a big room this time, with space for all the luggage and for us to move. Also the bathroom was very nice and big. We had a super big smooth bed where we slept very well, even though we had a street room. One very nice detail was that they gave us carton bags with some breakfast, because we had an early flight back home. We really loved to stay in Catalonia Plaza Mayor Hotel.
