They were caring and so friendly and professional. We got served a welcome drink on arrival, which was a great touch. They can organise anything for you, from car transfers to boat trips. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of italiand breads, sweets, cheeses and meats, as well as some hot options. Room was spacious and clean, with a great view and all the facilities we needed. Location was perfect, right across from the beach, near many restaurants and about 100 metresfr the ferry terminal, which goes to Portofino, Santa Margherita and other beaches. During our stay, there was also a special drinks / finger food happy hour event organised by the hotel, which was a great opportunity to meet staff and other guests. Highly recommended.

The view was superb with the sea extending to a vast horizon as well as scenes of the very picturesque port below. The hotel was immediately placed next to the town which has lots of bars and cafes. The staff were courteous and efficient.

Located in Dolceacqua, Talking Stones is characterised by exposed stone walls in all rooms. It has a shared terrace offering panoramic views of Doria Castle, 400 metres away. Breakfast was a feast. The hostess was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the atmosphere.

Offering free access to Lido di Lerici private beach, Piccolo Hotel Del Lido is in central Lerici. It features an indoor hydrotherapy pool and sun terrace with sun loungers plus excellent views. We just cannot wait to return to this hotel. In fact, we are already planning our next visit. Sandy and her team were truly amazing. SO helpful, so kind, so generous with their advice and time. The room was well-appointed and had a comfortable king sized bed. We had a free carpark - amazing! We had our own sundeck with chairs, table and cover for reading in the shade when sun baking was done for the day. The breakfast was truly lovely and the staff serving us were wonderful. Even the cleaners were so lovely. But of course - THE VIEWS WERE AMAZING!!!!
