Boasting a sauna, Penthouse Windkracht 10 aan het strand van Cadzand is situated in Cadzand. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The owners, who also run a fabulous restaurant on the ground floor, and their daughter who works with them, were delightful and so helpful - including giving us some eggs from the kitchen for our breakfast. As you turn the corner into the apartment, you're met with the most incredible view of the sea and miles of beach through the French windows that open onto a terrace. The kitchen is befitting of the restauranteurs that own it and although my cooking wasn't a patch on theirs, it was a treat to cook in. There's also a pool and sauna downstairs which we enjoyed.

Hotel Molenbos Texel is a modern 3-star hotel in the north of the island. Benefit from free Wi-Fi and free parking, and sit out on the garden-terrace to breathe in some fresh sea air. The location, the hotel is very close to the village’s center. The lighthouse is a few minutes away by car. The breakfast was very nice.

EnJoy Lake and Sea Ferienhaus is a lovely holiday home, which has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The house features 3 bedrooms, a living room with a sitting area and a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, and a garden with a sitting area, 2 lounge chairs and a small trampoline. The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a gas stove and an oven (no microwave). Bedlinen and towels are not included in the price, so you can either bring your own or rent them for an additional fee. You can park your car next to the cottage. The check-in procedure was easy and convenient: we received a number code for the locker that contained the key to the front door. Even though the place has 6 beds, I think it would feel a bit cramped if you'd indeed stay there with 6 people. We stayed there with 2 adults and 2 children, and it felt like the right size for our family. Esther, the owner, is very kind. Before we arrived, she already sent us a lot of information about things we could do during our stay. Upon arrival, we found a box of chocolates as a welcome gift, and some tea bags and pads for the coffee machine. During our stay, she would check with us to make sure everything was okay. The house is located on the terrain of Siblu camping Lauwersoog. However, since it is owned by private owners, it has just these little extra touches that make it feel a bit more like a home than I expect it would be if it were owned by the camping park. It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is a bit better equipped than strictly necessary, and there are some board games for entertainment. You can use the facilties of the camping park. It has a restaurant and a take away, an indoor and outdoor playground for children, and a bicycle rental. During the summer season, there is also a park shop.

Both the location and the house are great. The location is just in the middle in between the sea and the center of the city. There are 3 restaurants just next to the house, so you have options for dinner or lunch without too much effort. The house was amazing! It is a well preserved old house that combines both the old style, and the amenities that any modern house should have to make your stay pleasant.

Offering garden views, Rustic Retreat: Fireplace, BBQ, + Forest Access is an accommodation set in Burgh Haamstede, 7.9 km from Visitor centre National Park Oosterschelde and 11 km from Slot Moermond. Very cozy house, very well equipped and in a nice location. The owners provided us with all kinds of information to make the best of our trip. I can only recommend it!
