Hotel De Maasparel Arcen is a 4-star hotel in centre of the historical town Arcen. There is a restaurant with 2 outside terraces. Venlo is 10 km away. We were two couples, upstairs in modern rooms (22 and 23). Rooms were very attractive and thank goodness for airco, as it was toasty. Only drawback was the lovely beams were head level in some cases, so tall people beware. The outside space out back was particularly lovely and location in town and steps away from the water (which you can't see from older side) was perfect. We had dinner there too and it was really good and, just as important, the staff was extremely friendly. Great breakfast too!
