She was a very caring lady. The food provided was also great and they let us use the kitchen to reheat our food. The location is good, very close to the beach walking.

The best thing about the house was it's location, just on the other side of the road from the beach and just next to plenty of restaurants and bars (Punta Rucia style of course, nothing too fancy). Villa Rosa has recently acquired their own boat to take you to Cayo Arena, so it was very easy to book and the timing of the trip was excellent. We were also able to keep our rooms until after our return allowing us to shower and change before departing this sleepy backwater in DR. Punta Rucia itself was a charming little town, look out for the Ravioli - definitely worth a try.
