Lovely couple who run it. Room was clean and a comfortable king size bed for us to catch up on much needed sleep. Breakfast was amazing full English and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend staying here

There was an initial problem with my booking (which was absolutely nothing to do with the hosts!), which turned into a masterclass in customer service. I was given a quiet room to sit in while my room was cleaned, connected to the WiFi so I was able to work then shown into what turned out to be a really lovely room. Everything was extremely clean, the room was a pleasant temperature and the bathroom was lovely. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, and there's even a fridge in the room. The water to the bath and shower were piping hot and decent pressure. The room is in an excellent location - it's above a very nicely decorated Thai Restaurant, and very central. There's a Sainsbury's local right over the road, and it's a ten minute walk from the train station. There was very little noise, which was impressive given that when I arrived a birthday party was starting in the restaurant. Overall - no, it's not the Ritz, but it's very clean, in a brilliant location and honestly more than worth the price I paid.

Close proximity to the historical centre of Buxton. Right opposite the impressive parkland and gardens. Very comfortable and welcoming stay. Breakfast was delicious, and served with a smile. On-site parking close to entrance. Within a short walk to pubs for dinner. Supermarket nearby. Very happy to have stayed here.
