The room is amazing, very beautiful and big and the bed is very comfortable. Everything clean. The only suggestion is to bring earplugs because the bells of the temple next door start around 4 am and they never stop.

The place was quaint and run by fine gentleman who was extremely accommodating and helpful to a great extent to make our stay comfortable. All staff were trained well and polite too. A nice Hotel recommended for the family to stay close to old Jodhpur and market area. Would surely stay there again if i go back to Jodhpur.

It is a great historic hotel, more like home. The owner, Mr. Sushil, is so polite and pleasant, and he accommodated our every request with a smile. The staff is excellent, and we were connected with Alok Ji and Deepak ji, the best and most honest guides. They arranged for our transportation. They helped us shop and took us to authentic restaurants. The hotel is spotless; it is like living with relatives in a cozy real Rajasthani house. Food was like at home. View of the fort from the rooftop is amazing especially at night Alok ji and Deepak ji were with us all day to all the places like a friend, and we roamed around the city with confidence as they knew everything and everyone.

Loved everything about the place! We customized our check-in time to 6am as we reached the city by 5.30am The old couple who own the place are very cozy, helpful and kind! Absolutely loved the experience. The theme of the stay is that of the blue city, it's completely painted in blue. There is a cafe on the terrace where you can have a decent breakfast for reasonable prices. The pancakes were delicious. The location of the stay is perfect, as it is close to Ranisar talab and the Mehrangarh fort, You can walk to these places and don't need to hire an auto etc. If you are a solo traveller, again it's super super safe be it for a boy or a girl. Overall we loved our experience here! The hosts are wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Great family, nice facilities, amazing food, cold beer, and an amazing view from the rooftop. The location is just under the fort and has to be one of the best in Jodhpur! This is my last stop on a five-month trip, and staying here has been one of the highlights. Even added a couple days! Highly recommended and I hope to be back someday.

Host is very welcoming and helpful, just lovely nothing is too much trouble and as they live in part of the property they are available always when needed. Very comfortable bed and good shower room just the aware that the shower is cold water so if you want a warm wash you need to use the bucket, this was fine for us in a cold stay. It's an old and charming haveli, very authentic and well decorated, whose windows on the little no-car streets will let you witness the daily come-and-go of Jodhpur inhabitants. The restaurant is open all day and serves delicious and cheap food as well as beer. It is located near other guesthouses with their own rooftop restaurants if you want different food. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The host family are very welcoming, their son Happiness was who we mainly spoke to and he is quite the cheeky chappy! One of the nicest homestays we've had on our trip.

We liked the room so much that we stayed inside longer then intended. The host is charming and funny, and took really good care of us :) staying at Shahi Guest House feels like a 5-star hotel experience with the humble and kindness of an intimate guesthouse. We couldn’t wish for a better place to stay.
