Quality over quantity is how the welcoming host Charl described the Deux Freres wines during our complementary wine tasting. The same can be said about the two sizeable ground floor apartments. Fitted with many luxuries and complemented with above and beyond service, it is an oasis within a stone's throw from Stellenbosch.

Hilda was an amazing host who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. she was always reachable via WhatsApp. the place is clean, bright, beautifully furnished and comfortable.

Stayed with a couple of friends of Winter. The property is very well kept with the colonial design still intact. Our host Abby & Portia were very welcoming and accommodating. Our stay included breakfast and we got a choice to choose between 4 continental dishes. Rooms where spacious and so were the bathroom ( room 5). The garden was very kept and so was the pool, however we did not take the opportunity to go for a swim. The properties location is close to most landmarks, however an Uber would be the choice of transport, only to save you time. The town was quiet as most of the students have left for holidays. Plenty of bars and restaurants (The Fat Butcher was our favorite) overall stay at Stellenbosch Manor 10/10. Highly recommended stay.

This was an absolutely STUNNING property with Mountain View’s. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Every single person was very warm and we could tell cared about our experienced. I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay here. The room was extremely clean and the decorations added extra personality to the room.

Lovely location, the house is beautifully set up and the rooms are light and spacious. Staff are friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast - especially the fresh home made bread!

The room was very comfortable. The surroundings are very beautiful and restful. The deck by the river is a wonderful place to cool off.

Nice and clean and the host added a lot of small details in the room like chocolates on the bed, tea coffee water biscuits. When we asked if you could add another person to the room she was very helpful and did so without hesitation. The location is perfect close to town and easy access to the wine routes
